Vitamin E

Vitamin E is fat-soluble, comprised of eight compounds. The eight compounds are four tocotrienols and four tocopherols, each classified with the prefixes alpha, beta, delta, and gamma. The only Vitamin E that can be used and consumed by humans is known as alpha-tocopherol. Vitamin E is best known for its ability to heal the skin and can be found in oils but also foods like nuts, seeds, and green leafy vegetables.

Vitamin E comes in oil, soft gel, and cream forms.

In addition to its ability to heal the skin from irritation and sunburn, Vitamin E:
